Entry Level Telecommunications Technician
Alma Communications Company, a fiber-to-the-home (providing voice and internet service) and Fixed Wireless internet service provider, is currently accepting applications for a full-time, entry level Telecommunications Technician.
Duties include installing and maintaining broadband and telecommunications facilities over fiber optic cable and fixed wireless internet. Minimum requirements include ability to lift at least 50 pounds and able to use a ladder or lift (not afraid of heights), a valid driver’s license with clean driving record, ability to perform physically exerting tasks with routine exposure to the outside elements and temperatures. Applicants must have working knowledge of computer systems, experience using mechanical and electrical power tools, organizational and critical thinking skills and a willingness to learn and be a team player. Basic understanding of electronics and computer networking preferred.
