What is Adware and Spyware?

Adware and Spyware (malware) are small programs or bits of code used for advertising, demographics, and even stealing personal information from you. It is very important to take all precautions to remove all malware from your computer for several reasons.

Security - Spyware installs itself on your computer and can capture websites you visit, keystrokes, usernames, passwords, and other personal information you enter such as credit card information.
Computer Performance - Since Malware actually installs itself on your computer, it takes up hard disk space as well as memory, causing programs you do use to slow down. Malware can also overwrite important files with code of their own, causing your computer to have errors.
Annoying Pop-Ups - Everyone is familiar with Pop-Ups. Most Pop-Ups, Page Redirects, and even some "page cannot be displayed" errors are a result of Adaware.
